The empowerment of widows in partnership with Nigeria Bottling Company held at AGBOYI-KETU LOCAL COUNCIL DEV. AREA. The ten widows empowered were selected from the community. The event had His Royal Majesty, Oba Isiaka Adio Balogun Adetutu, Tunji IIelaboye, the Sole Admistrator both praised Nigeria Bottling Company reiterating the need toequip women particularly widows. The sole administrator enjoined the widows to work hard and not disappoint as the opportunity was ablessing. According to him there several widows in need as such they should be worthy ambasadors of the LCDA. Miss Ifeoma Okoye, Public Affairs Manager, Lagos and West spoke of Nigerian Bottling Company commitment to women empowerment. “It is a way of improving lives and providing trade assests for sustainable livelihood”.
