Hope for Life Initiative recently held a training conference for the selected widows from Agboyi-Ketu LCDA. Widows gathered at Honeysuckle Cakes to gain knowledge in Cake baking, decorating, fondant, buttercream and royal icing. The widows were also lectured on how to use their skills to multiply their talents.
At the end of the session, the widows expressed joy at being chosen to participate. The total cost of attending the programme was free. They exhibited enthusiasm and …the zeal to learn and to make money from what was taught to them.
At the end of the training event, the widows were given a certificate for the training. They will also be empowered to begin to use their newly acquired skill to provide for their families. it would afford her the opportunity of meeting her family needs. The widows promised to begin business at the end of the training programme.
