Mr Barry Phipps, a counsellor at the American Secondary School speaking to students of Isawo junior comprehensive high school.
At the seminar, he emphasized the importance of reading. As children they must LEARN TO READ AND READ TO LEARN because when one can read, one cannot be manipulated and cheated. He also spoke on the need for the students to listen to their parents and appreciate the work done by their teachers. Finally, he called on them to work hard to make not only their parents and teachers proud but themselves.
